Bjorn Bouwmans raised to 1,200,000 from the cutoff. Tamir Segal shoved with the bigger stack on the button and Bouwmans called.
"I want to win! Call!" Bouwmans said.
The flop came to keep Bouwmans ahead.
The turn was the for Segal to hit a pair of queens and leap ahead.
Bouwmans needed a king to be able to double up but the on the river wasn't that and Bouwmans was sent home in 9th place today after finishing in 24th place last year.
The eight remaining players were sent on a 15-minute break before the stream with hole cards will commence.
