Darren Elias

Michael Liang opened to 85,000 in the hijack and Darren Elias flat-called from the cutoff. Jonathan Jaffe was in the big blind and stuck in a three-bet to 390,000. Liang let his hand go but Elias shoved for around 1,200,000. Jaffe flicked in a chip to call and the cards were on their backs.

Darren Elias: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Jonathan Jaffe: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

It was a coin flip but Jaffe took a big lead on the {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop. Elias was left drawing to a straight but the {4-Hearts} paired the board on the turn and Elias was drawing dead to the {5-Clubs} on the river.

Mateos Goes Big on the River

ajlamers • Level 14: 15,000-30,000, 30,000 ante

Jonathan Jaffe raised to 65,000 from under the gun and Adrian Mateos called from the big blind. The two players saw a flop of {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Mateos started off with a check. Jaffe continued for 30,000 only to have Mateos check-raise to 110,000 which Jaffe called.

The turn brought the {3-Clubs} and both players checked to the {k-Spades} on the river. Mateos cut out a bet of 335,000 this time and Jaffe thought about it for a minute but decided to let his hand go.

Jake Daniels

Jake Daniels was down to just 215,000 in early position and he shipped all in. Adam Hendrix confirmed the count from the cutoff before he called and the rest of the table passed.

Jake Daniels: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Adam Hendrix: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Daniels ran into the one hand he didn't want to see and the board of {10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs} offered no help either as he was eliminated in 14th place.
