Dmitry Yurasov opened to 750,000 and Ami Barer defended to see the flop where Barer elected to lead, betting 1,560,000.
Yurasov raised and Barer called for less, putting his last 491,180 into the pot for what was the last hand of the event.
Yurasov was in complete control with his flopped straight and Barer was in need of some luck. A river left him drawing to just a nine to survive but the landed instead.
Barer was dubbed the runner-up, pulling in a respectable $69,347 in prizes for his effort.
