HillKerby • Level 27: 30,000-60,000, 60,000 ante

Action was folded to Scot Masters in the hijack, who opened to 150,000. Sevak Mikaiel made the call on the button, as did Bryan Arnold from the big blind. The three saw a flop of {2-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Arnold checked to Masters, who made a continuation-bet of 250,000. Mikaiel folded and Arnold announced he was all in. Masters thought for a few seconds and let his hand go as the dealer shipped the pot in Arnold's direction.

Song Wins Critical Flip vs Seoane

jeffmcmillan • Level 27: 30,000-60,000, 60,000 ante

Stephen Song three-bet from the button to 360,000. It folded around to the original raiser, Miguel Seoane Iglesias in the cutoff. The Spaniard thought for about twenty seconds before moving all in and was quickly called by Song.

It was a classic coin flip situation as Song held the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} up against the {8-}{8-} of Seoane.

The flop was glorious for Song as it paired the ace and gave him a draw to the nut flush when it came the {5-Spades}{10-Spades}{a-Hearts}. The grim situation for Seoane would not improve as the board ran out {3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and gave Song a critical double up through the former chip leader.

Song Takes One Off Sklar

HillKerby • Level 27: 30,000-60,000, 60,000 ante

Action was heads up between Randal Sklar, who was under the gun, and Stephen Song in the big blind. The board read {6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Song had checked to Sklar, who bet 280,000. Song made the call, bringing the {2-Spades} river. Song checked and Sklar thought for a few seconds before checking behind.

Song turned over {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a pair of jacks and it was good as Sklar sent his hand into the muck and now finds himself with a stack of under 10 big blinds.

Quan Zhou
Quan Zhou

Adam Demersseman raised all in for his last 95,000 and action folded around to Vegard Ropstad in the small blind, who made the call. Quan Zhou was in the big blind and also called, taking the two heads up for a side pot.

The flop came {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Ropstad Checked to Zhou, who made a bet of 95,000. Ropstad raised to 300,000 and Zhou shoved all in for a total of 495,000. Ropstad quickly called and all three players turned up their hands

Adam Demersseman: {j-Spades}{9-Spades}
Vegard Ropstad: {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Quan Zhou: {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Demersseman was in need of a queen and only a queen to stay alive, as the seven would have given Zhou a full house. Ropstad was in need of a diamond in order to improve to a flush. The turn and river were blanks and the entire pot was sent Zhou's way.

Zucchet was ahead with the {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} against Coombe's {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. The flop kept Zucchet ahead as it came the {7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} but the turn changed matters when it came the {k-Clubs}. And the river was the {6-Spades} to confirm Zucchet's bust out in 22nd place.

Javier Icaza called the all in shove from Scot Masters on the turn, but was well behind with {a-Spades}{7-Hearts} which was only top pair against the set of deuces of Masters who held {2-}{2-Hearts} on a board featuring a deuce.

Aces for Ingles, Demersseman On Fumes

HillKerby • Level 26: 25,000-50,000, 50,000 ante

Pedro Ingles and Adam Demersseman were heads up in a pot in middle position and the big blind, respectively and ended up getting stacks in on a flop of {8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{k-Spades}. According to a player at the table, Demersseman check-raised the flop and was three-bet all in by Ingles. He made the call and the two turned over their hands.

Pedro Ingles: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Adam Demersseman: {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and it took a triple check of each player's stacks to confirm that Ingles got a full double up of his 1,065,000. Demersseman had 1,080,000 and was left with a mere 15,000.

He got his remaining chips in with {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} the very next hand against the {a-Spades}{9-Hearts} of Vegard Ropstad and hit a straight on a {8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} runout in order to get back above starting stack, but is currently nursing a stack of crumbs.
