Schwartz Likely to Feel This Blow for a While

[user123189]

A player from middle position raised to 4,300 and Ylon Schwartz pushed all in for 18,000. A player in the big blind called off his remaining 17,400, and the original raiser folded.

Schwartz: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Schwartz picked up plenty of outs when the flop came {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. He managed to find one of them when he made a flush through the {3-Hearts} on the turn. However, when the {7-Hearts} fell on the river, his opponent made a higher flush, crippling Schwartz.

Hamby on a Heater

Chad_Holloway

Jared Hamby was in the small blind and moved all in over an opponent's original 4,600 raise for 32,500. His opponent called and showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} but was behind Hamby's {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, which kept Hamby in the lead. The {A-Diamonds} on the turn paired his opponent's hand but also gave Hamby a wheel. The {6-Spades} on the river ensured Hamby the double up and he is now sitting with 68,000 in chips.

Ace on the River for Kellstrom

[user123189]

Dana Kellstrom is back towards the average stack size after doubling up with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} against {j-}{j-}. Kellstrom hit an ace on the river, which was music to his ears, but not likely to his opponent's.

Deeb Cautious With Full House

[user123189]

Shaun Deeb was involved in a pot with an opponent with a board {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}. Deeb was in the cutoff and checked, when his opponent bet 11,000. Deeb tanked for a while and eventually made the call.

Both players checked the turn as well as the {10-Diamonds} river. Deeb showed {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} which was better than his opponent's {7-Spades}{6-Spades}. After telling his opponent "good effort." That may have seemed unsportsmanlike to Adam Katz, who from the rail said "Good effort? That's just wrong."

On a flop of {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, Adam Croffut bet 10,000 and Victor Ramdin went all in for a total of 27,000. Croffut made the call and Ramdin showed {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a double-gutted straight draw while Croffut held {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}.

Ramdin called for a ten on the turn and it came the {10-Clubs}. "I wish I was that lucky," a player at the table proclaimed. Croffut was drawing dead on the river, but Ramdin still called for a six. Wouldn't you know it, it ended up being the {6-Hearts}. Ramdin took the pot and doubled to 74,000.

Reynolds to 120k

William Reynolds bet 13,600 into an 18,000 pot on a board reading {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. He got a call from a player in middle position, who mucked upon seeing Reynold's {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

Reynolds is currently sitting with 120,000 in chips.
