PokerNews talked to Saro Getzoyan just after he took down the $5k Limit Hold'em Event and over $330,000.

In the small blind, Geoff Sanford raised and Saro Getzoyan called. The flop came , and Getzoyan led out. Sanford raised, and after thinking a short time Getzoyan re-raised. At this point Sanford was committed, and all his chips were soon in the pot. He turned over for middle pair -- but Gezoyan held for top pair.

The on the turn gave Getzoyan two pair, leaving Sanford dead to an eight. And the river brought the , giving the hand, the title, the $333,379 first prize, and the bracelet to Saro Getzoyan. Geoff Sanford, a most worthy runner-up who just couldn't hit a hand once we reached heads-up play, finishes second and collects $200,511.

Getzoyan has won the blinds 3 hands in a row with raises.

All the chips are going Saro Getzoyan's way. He just won another huge pot when, after Sanford called him on the flop and raised on the turn, the board of made both players check. Getzoyan held and Sanford couldn't beat his fours.

Sanford is in dire straits now.

The players are sitting in the 7 and 9 seats, across from each other and very close. They both have their game faces on...but then there will be a stray comment and both of them will break out in wide, relaxed smiles. Until the next deal comes and the shields go up.

With the board reading Sanford checked and Getzoyan bet. Sanford thought a bit before making the call, and Getzoyan turned over , for a pair on the river. Sanford took one last look at his A-Q before throwing it in the muck.

With the board reading both players surrendered after trading bets on the flop and river. Getzoyan's provided the margin against Sanford's to win a big pot.

Getzoyan wins when he flops a king with and gets called on the flop and river, Sanford wins with when he flops an eight. Getzoyan has a slight chip lead -- very slight.

Another pot won on the flop and Geoff Sanford is nearly back to even terms with Saro Getzoyan. The blinds are so big right now that it could all turn on a single hand.
