Day 4 completed
It was a speedy affair to crown a champion on the final day of PokerStar WCOOP-91-M: $530 NLHE [8-Max, NLHE Main Event] as barely four hours passed to whittle down the 9 survivors out of a field of 7,783 entries to a winner.
In the end, it was Sweden's "festen x" who defeated "Play4livin" in heads-up to claim the lion's share of the $3,891,500 prize pool and earned their maiden WCOOP title, which came with a payday of $549,008.
"festen x" came into the final table third in chips but immediately took the chip lead after taking a chunk out of "Gabriellin's" stack. That chip lead was in their hands for most of the day and did hit a little roller coaster for a few levels but caught a heater at the end to claim victory.

Final Table Action
The final table started with a few players catching doubles but after one full level, the first virtual body dropped after "dulek_jason" lost a race against "Play4livin". Both "Dieferson09" and "behindme93" were eliminated shortly after with kicker issues and it was from this point where eventual champ "festen x" started to make their presence known.
The next two to fall were thanks to "festen x" after their pocket queens crushed the pocket tens of "T0X16-" and then their ace-jack offsuit out-flopped the ace-king of "blowf1sh". The rollercoaster mentioned earlier came at this point, when "festen x" lost back-to-back all in's, putting them at the bottom of the chip counts with four players remaining.
The slight downfall didn't faze the eventual champ as they climbed back to the top of the counts just before "Play4livin dropped "PIPON777" in fourth place for $198,857.
When three-handed action started it was Day 4 chip leader "Gabriellln" sitting at the bottom of the counts and even though they managed a few double-ups, their day came to an end after they were set up by "Play4livin".
The heads-up match saw "Play4livin" hold a 2:1 chip advantage but that didn't last long as "festen x" turned the tides a few in a short hands after flopping quad sevens, and then after flopping a set of aces. With "festen x" holding majority of the chips, play only lasted one more hand until they claimed victory while "Play4livin" took home a consolation prize of $391,349 for runner-up.
This concludes the PokerNews coverage of this event but stick around as the WCOOP-91-H: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max, NLHE Main Event] still has four players left who are battling it out for the top-prize of $1,499,942.
