Only 17 places paid in the tournament and Austria-based pro Marius "DEX888" Gierse was eliminated on the money bubble in brutal fashion after running pocket queens into pocket kings. Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph was the first out in the money for a cash of $11,242 after calling down with top pair against a set.
The remaining players fought it out until five-time WCOOP champion Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski, who won this year's 13-H: $1,050 FLO8 for $23,897, was eliminated on the final table bubble after getting his aces cracked by the king-high flush of Greenwood.
The 136-entrant field included a number of high-profile players, including PokerStars ambassador Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis, who was eliminated in 42nd Place on his second bullet, as well as Patrick "pads1161" Leonard, who busted shortly after in 40th Place on a third bullet. Leonard has already won two WCOOP titles this series.
The final table will recommence on Wednesday at 5:05 p.m. GMT. The top payouts include $146,932 for first place, $114,745 for second place and $88,054 for third place.

Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski:
Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood:
The flop came , giving Greenwood a flush draw. He made the flush on the turn and a fourth heart didn't come for Dzivielevski on the river, sending him out on the final table bubble in 10th Place.
Tom "Daenarys T" Vogelsang raised to 135,000 and "CrazyLissy" flat-called on the button. The flop checked through and "CrazyLissy" called Vogelsang's 131,175 bet on the turn. Both players checked the river and Vogelsang showed for top pair. "CrazyLissy" did not show
Following an open raise to 120,000 by "CrazyLissy" in under the gun, it was Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford who jammed for 1,259,882 in total. Tom "Daenarys T" Vogelsang forfeited his big blind and "CrazyLissy" came along for the coinflip.
Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford:
The left Beresford in desperate shape and it was all over on the turn, the river was a mere formality. Beresford becomes the 11th place finisher and the tournament is now on the final table bubble.
"flerrehuve" four-bet jammed for just under 2 million in the cutoff and Dzmitry "Colisea" Urbanovich called on the button after initially three-betting.
Dzmitry "Colisea" Urbanovich:
The runout came , giving "flerrehuve" a straight but also giving Urbanovich a flush.
Off a stack of just under a million, Alexandros "Pwndidi" Theologis limped the small blind. "CrazyLissy" responded with a shove out of the big blind and Theologis called.
Alexandros "Pwndidi" Theologis:
The flop changed nothing yet but the turn gave "CrazyLissy" the nut flush draw. Instead of another spade, they nailed the river to eliminate Theologis in 13th place.
Andras "probirs" Nemeth raised to 131,400 on the button and Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford three-bet to 452,800 with less than 50,000 behind. Nemeth raised and Beresford called.

Andras "probirs" Nemeth:
The board ran out and Beresford secured a double-up with his pair of aces.
