Zaman Bags the Chip Lead on Day 1c of the Unibet UK Poker Tour Main Event; Lappin Bags Second Biggest Stack

Day 1c of the 2020 Unibet UK Poker Tour £220 Main Event was a huge success with 230 entrants. The turbo Day 1d flight attracted another 123 entrants to bring the final tally to 714 entrants.

This is not only a Unibet UK Poker Tour record by far but the £141,372 prize pool nearly triples the £50,000 guarantee.

A total of 37 players advanced from the Day 1c flight with 2019 Unibet UK Poker Tour Newcastle Main Event champion Tabish Zaman bagging the biggest stack of the flight with 528,000.

Closely on his tail were Unibet Poker Ambassador David Lappin with 505,000 and Lawrence Cullen with 491,000.

Lappin was building chips throughout the day but his biggest pots came after the dinner break and at one point had a stack of 580,000 in chips.

The turbo Day 1d chip leader Alain Bissai-Logbo bagged more than this trio and will start Day 2 with 574,000 in chips.

This group of players is behind the biggest stacks from Day 1b with Saulius Rimgaila bagging 652,000 and David Rudling bagging 638,000.
