Callum Pooles opened from under the gun to 600,000 before Bartas Samoska then raised all-in for 1,080,000. Damien Pilkington-Lewis then shoved his chips over the top for 2,490,000. Pooles used a time bank card before calling.

Bartas Samoska: {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Damien Pilkington-Lewis: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Callum Pooles: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Samoska mentioned "I'm live!" after seeing the other hands.

On the flop of {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} his statement was absolutely true as he flopped a flush draw and still had his pair outs.

The turn saw the {a-Diamonds} drop and now it was Pilkington-Lewis who celebrated with a clap and a "YES!".

His celebrations continued on the river when the {k-Spades} completed the board and he doubled up and some taking Samoska's chips. We lost Samoska in 5th place for which he earnt a respectable £6,500.

Lawrence Cullen opened from under the gun to 460,000. Callum Pooles called from the cutoff. Valentin Ghioca shoved all in from the big blind for 840,000. Both Cullen and Pooles called and went to a flop of {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and checked it.

The turn brought the {j-Hearts} and Cullen shoved his last remaining chips which caused Pooles to quickly fold.

Valentin Ghioca: {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Lawrence Cullen: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The river was the {a-Spades} eliminating Ghioca in 6th place.

The very next hand Cullen took a pot from Pooles for another 1,200,000.

Isiguzo Takes One From Ghioca

Michael Isiguzo

Valentin Ghoica wasn't able to get much going in the last couple of blind levels and is low on chips.

Just before the blinds increased, Ghioca opened to 400,000 from early position and Michael Isiguzo defended his big blind.

Isiguzo checked after the {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades} came on the flop and Ghioca bet 300,000. Isiguzo raised to 1,200,000 and began to chat with Ghioca.

"I have a two and spades," said Isiguzo.

Ghioca folded a few seconds later and Isiguzo flashed the {6-Spades} as the dealer shipping him the pot.

Martin Tse Eliminated in 7th Place (£4,350)

Martin Tse

Callum Pooles opened up from early position to 450,000 and was called by Martin Tse in the big blind.

Both players checked after the {4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} came down on the flop.

Things got interesting after the {8-Clubs} came on the turn. Tse checked and Pooles bet 500,000. Tse then jammed for 1,610,000 and Tse called after getting a count.

Martin Tse: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Callum Pooles: {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Tse needed some help on the river but none was to come with the {7-Clubs} completing the board.

After the hand, Pooles reclaimed the chip lead briefly held by Bartas Samoska.

Samoska Smokes Pooles

lukemaskell94 • Level 29: 50,000-100,000, 100,000 ante

Callum Pooles opened to 400,000 from the highjack. Bartas Samoska called from the button and both blinds folded, so heads-up to the flop.

A flop of {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} came. Both players checked.

The turn was an action inducing {j-Hearts}. Pooles bet out 500,000. Samoska thought for a moment then raised all-in. Pooles quickly called.

Bartas Samoska: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Callum Pooles: {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Pooles had a pair of queens and Samoska had a pair of jacks but the {j-Diamonds} river gave Samoska trips and he became our new chip leader.

The players' stacks are now much more balanced.

Tse Doubles

lukemaskell94 • Level 29: 50,000-100,000, 100,000 ante

Callum Pooles has been taking an aggressive approach to the final table and thus far it's not working out for him.

Pooles raised from the highjack to 300,000 and Martin Tse called from the big blind.

A flop was dealt of {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}.

Tse counted his chips then moved all-in for 995,000. Pooles called almost immediately.

Martin Tse: {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Callum Pooles: {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

A turn came of {j-Hearts} to give Tse the advantage and the {7-Hearts} river did not change that giving Tse the full double.
