Welcome to the Final Day of the 2020 Unibet UK Poker Tour London £220 Main Event at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City.
The event has been a massive success with the 714 entrants and the huge £141,372 prize pool not only shattering the £50,000 by almost triple but also crushing the previous record of this event.
To put this into perspective, the previous record was established in 2018 when Paul Romain outlasted a field of 289 entrants to win the £13,000 top prize. That event generated a £57,800 prize pool.
The field has been dwindled down to just 119 hopefuls in the hunt for the title.
Day 1b chip leader Saulius Rimgaila resides on top of the leaderboard with a healthy stack of 652,000. Also in the top five are David Rudling (638,000), Day 1d chip leader Alain Bissai-Logbo (574,000), Day 1c chip leader and 2019 Unibet UK Poker Tour Newcastle champion Tabish Zaman (528,000), and Unibet Poker Ambassador David Lappin (505,000).
Lappin isn't the only Unibet Ambassador to both play and advance as he is joined by two short-stacked players in Dara O'Kearney (80,000) and Jorma Vuoksenmaa (61,000).
Blinds will begin at 3,000/6,000 with a big blind ante of 6,000 and increase every 30 minutes throughout the day until a winner is crowned.
|Level||Small Blind||Big Blind||Big Blind Ante|
Payouts will be announced just before the action begins at 1 p.m. GMT.
