The action started with Leonid Markin raising to 62,000 from the hijack. Stephen Chidwick bumped it up to 150,000 from the button which forced both players on the blinds out of the hand. Markin made the call and both players watched the flop come down .
Markin checked as Chidwick then threw out a continuation bet of 150,000 in chips. Markin quickly moved all in for 1,747,000 and was snap called.
Markin was in trouble of being eliminated but received extra straight outs as the fell on the turn. He would strike gold on the river completing a flush and giving him the winning hand against Chidwick’s trips.
Chidwick has dropped down to 395,000 in chips as Markin now leads the pack with 3,875,000 in chips.
