Chidwick Doubles Through Markin

Webjoker • Level 22: 60,000-120,000, 20,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick shoved from the small blind but didn't find a customer in Paul Newey as he had seven-deuce again and folded.

The next hand saw Chidwick push again on the button, this time for 1,525,000. Paul Newey didn't need a count and folded straight away, but Markin did. As soon as he heard it was about 1.5 million he called.

Chidwick had {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} while Markin tabled {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}.

The flop gave both a pair with {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{A-Hearts} and the {2-Diamonds} on the turn didn't change a thing. The river did though, giving Chidwick two pair with the {Q-Hearts}.

"Nice hand man" said Markin with a sincere voice while knocking on the table. Chidwick doubled to just over 3 million.

The Seven-Deuce Game

Webjoker • Level 21: 50,000-100,000, 10,000 ante

Just now Paul Newey folded his big blind, showing {2-}{7-} in the process. It wasn't the first time someone folded the big blind because he got the worst of all starting hands, at least four times before it happened today. Juha Helppi was on the receiving end more than once, showing every time. So far, nobody has gone wild with them, every time they ended up in the muck before the flop as far as we know.
