The action started with Leonid Markin raising to 480,000 from the button. Paul Newey stared down his opponent for almost a minute before announcing all in totalling 4,435,000 in chips. The call was instant.
Newey was in great shape to double up but it wasn’t without it sweat as the flop came down . The turn gave Markin even more outs but it would not come as the completed the board.
Newey moves up to 8,910,000 in chips as Markin drops down to 3,840,000.
