Byron Kaverman made it 55,000 to go and Rok Gostisa then three-bet to 110,000 with a stack of just under 400,000. Jose Quintas was forced all-in for 10,000 in the small blind and Kaverman then moved all-in with the covering stack for Gostisa to instantly call all-in.
Gostisa was looking forward to a large double and potentially leave Kaverman short. However, the flop improved Kaverman to trips kings and he retained the lead on the turn and river to secure a double knockout. Quintas and Gostisa both receive €44,420 for their efforts.
All nine remaining players will now redraw to the nine-handed final table and take a short break for a chip race of the T-1,000 denominations.
