John Juanda opened under the gun for 170,000 and Frederik Jensen folded the hijack. Pascal Lefrancois in the cutoff didn't need much time before announcing all in for just a little over 2 million in chips. Rainer Kempe on the button asked how much it was but folded, and so did both blinds rather quickly. Juanda called just as easily.

John Juanda: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Pascal Lefrancois: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

Lefrancois made no connection with the {6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop besides a runner runner straight draw. After the {4-Clubs} hit the turn, all Lefrancois could hope for would be an eight on the river. The eights stayed in the deck and instead the {6-Diamonds} popped up on the river.

Lefrancois takes home €78,300, the remaining 11 players are now guaranteed €87,750.

Touma Gets Eichhardt in Trouble

[user20283] • Level 29: 40,000-80,000, 10,000 ante

Peter Eichhardt raised from the button to 175,000 and Amir Touma three-bet to 300,000 from the big blind. Eichhardt tanked for a while before calling, and the flop brought out {4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

Touma bet 300,000 on the flop and Eichhardt made the call.

On the turn the {4-Spades} hit and Touma shoved all in for 1,530,000 effectively. Eichhardt tanked for quite a bit before folding {J-Spades}{9-Hearts} face up, while Touma showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} for top pair.

Oleksii Khoroshenin moved all in under the gun for 1,120,000 and the action folded around to Denys Shafikov in the big blind. After a while Shafikov called, and the showdown went as following.

Khoroshenin: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Shafikov: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and even though Khoroshenin flopped a set, Shafikov turned a higher set to send his fellow country man to the rail. Frederik Jensen is now the only EPT winner remaining, as Khoroshenin won EPT 10 in Vienna.

Complaints About the Pace of Play

[user20283] • Level 29: 40,000-80,000, 10,000 ante

The pace at the feature table has been considerably lower than at the outer table, and the players are starting the notice. It looks as though every second hand at the feature table involves a clock being called, while the outer table is blazing through the hands.

Pascal LeFrancois, among others, are suggesting that hand-for-hand play might be the fairest way to play from this point on.

Currently there's one table of six, and one of seven, and the players will combine for one table where there are just nine remaining.

Webjoker • Level 29: 40,000-80,000, 10,000 ante

Frederik Jensen opened for 165,000 from the cutoff and Rainer Kempe three bet to 480,000 from the small blind. Jensen made the call in position and he called Kempe's 360,000 continuation bet on {10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} as well. The turn came the {8-Hearts} and Kempe checked. Jensen bet out 850,000 and Kempe folded after some tanking.

Denys Shafikov

Denys Shafikov raised to 160,000 under the gun and from his direct left Oleksii Khoroshenin three-bet to 385,000. The action folded back around to Shafikov who went into the tank for several minutes before the clock was called on him. Eventually Shafikov called, and the flop brought out {9-Hearts}{J-Spades}{2-Spades}.

Shafikov check-called a bet of 325,000 on the flop and the turn was the {8-Clubs}.

This time both players checked and on the river the {6-Diamonds} hit. This time Shafikov lead out for 400,000 and after tanking for quite some time Khoroshenin folded {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} face up.

Warburton Wins a Big One from Kempe

Webjoker • Level 29: 40,000-80,000, 10,000 ante

Andreas Samuelsson opened under the gun for 175,000 and he received calls in three spots; Jensen (cutoff), Warburton (small blind) and Kempe (big blind).

The flop came {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Warburton checked. Kempe now lead out for 355,000 and initial raiser Samuelsson and Jensen both folded. Warburton made the call.

The {10-Hearts} on the turn saw both players check and the {6-Clubs} fell on the river. Warburton checked again, and snap called after Kempe bet out 850,000. Kempe mucked, Warburton did the same and started stacking.
