Gruissem Wins Flip; Busts Wigg

[user101598] • Level 10: 800-1,600, 200 ante

Anton Wigg opened to 3,200 from middle position, Philipp Gruissem three-bet to 7,300 on his direct left, and the action folded back to Wigg, who moved all in for what looked like 50,000 or so. Gruissem immediately called.

Wigg: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Gruissem: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The {6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Spades} flop didn't change much, but the {q-Diamonds} on the turn gave Gruissem a leading pair of queens. The {4-Spades} bricked on the river, and Wigg released a very long sigh. Gruissem extended a hand to his friend, who shook it then exited the tournament area.
