Former World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up, Martin Staszko, has been eliminated from the EPT Deauville main event at the hands of Jeffrey Hakim.
Hakim opened the preflop betting round with a min-raise to 400, two players folded and Staszko three-bet all-in for 3,400 in total. The action passed back to Hakim, he checked his cards once more and announced, "I call."
The flop was no help at all the Staszko and the turn was even worse as it improved Hakim to an unbeatable — in this hand at least — full house. The meaningless completed the board and confirmed Staszko's exit.
Hakim is flying high on 58,000 chips.
