We joined the action on a flop where we saw Martin Jacobson check from the big blind, Mikael Bilan tap the table and check from under the gun and Krysztof Zapolski try his luck with a bet of 1,025. Rocco Palumbo called from the button and after close to a minute of considering his options, Jacobson called. Bilan tossed his cards back to the dealer and it was three handed to the turn.
Jacobson upped his aggression and lead out for 2,700 on the turn, Zapolski called and Palumbo raised his eyebrows as he got out of the way and relinquished his hand.
The turn saw Jacobson go back into checking mode, but his check seemed to puzzle his now-sole opponent because Zapolski sat for close to three minutes before betting 4,200. Jacobson sat with his gaze fixated on Zapolski but he must not have liked what he saw because he exited the hand and left Zapolski to pick up a substantial pot.
