Shorr Shooting Up The Counts

YorkshirePud

Shannon Shorr's climb up the chip counts continues; he now has 43,000 chips.

On a {j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, Shorr bet 1,200 into his two opponents. James Carroll folded in the hijack, but Bulgarian pro Simeon Naydenov called from the cutoff. The dealer burned a card before placing the {j-Spades} on the felt for the players to ponder over. Shorr made it 4,300 to play and Naydenov had seen enough and sent his cards back to the dealer.
