Not Really a Stern Test

[user76023]

Dani Stern opened to 800 preflop from the cutoff before Sami Kelopuro reraised to 1,900 on the button. Stern made the call but then quickly check-folded to a 1,675 bet on the dry-looking {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop.

Horecki Gets It Back

[user72235]
Marcin Horecki
Marcin Horecki

After losing the big pot Marcin Horecki put his tournament life at risk just a few hands later. He went all-in for his remaining stack of around 8,500 and was called by the player on his immediate left.

Horecki showed {Q-Spades} {10-Spades} and his opponent opened {A-Spades} {K-Hearts}.

The Polish pro was still behind after the {4-Spades} {3-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} flop, but the {10-Clubs} on the turn paired his ten and that was enough to collect the pot as the river bricked {5-Diamonds}.

Gets His Marcin Orders?

[user76023]

Marcin Horecki is in a bit of trouble at the moment, he'd called a 2,500 bet from EPT Loutraki runner-up Hauke Heseding on the turn to see the river of a {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board.

Horecki checked and Heseding moved all in (technically setting the Team PokerStars Pro all in for his last 9,000). Horecki gave his young German opponent the 'stare' for a minute or two before opting to fold.

Enough of the Blogging, Back to Playing

[user76079]

Pratyush Buddiga had enough of Tweeting about his table mates' prowess, it was time for him to get in the action. It didn't work out so well for him though.

He raised from late position and called when Michael Tureniec three-bet to 2,650 from the small blind. The flop fell {j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Tureniec led for 2,500. Call.

The Swede elected to check the {6-Clubs} turn, before making a considered call after Buddiga threw out a 5k chip. Both players checked the {7-Spades} river and Tureniec opened {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Buddiga mucked.

A short while after, Anton Wigg was eliminated from the seat between the two players mentioned above.
