Lichtenberger Not So Lucky in Three-Way All-In Pot

Chad_Holloway
Andrew Lichtenberger

We just witness a three-way all-in pot that saw a short-stacked Philipp Gruissem get his last 32,000 in with {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and Andrew Lichtenberger, who had 141,000, do the same with {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Unfortunately for them both, Artem Litvinov had them both covered and at risk with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}.

The cameras swarmed the table as the dealer put down the flop . . . {2-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. Gruissem spiked his card to take the lead, though Litvinov was still out in front for the larger side pot. Neither the {4-Diamonds} turn nor {7-Clubs} river changed a thing, and Gruissem tripled while Lichtenberger was felled by Litvinov.
