Nick Frangos is a professional poker player born in New York. Frangos is a regular along the East Coast poker scene where he plays in the highest limit cash games around. Along with being an extremely successful cash game player, Frangos will dabble in tournaments here and there.

His first win came back in 2002 when he took down the $300 Half Seven-Card Stud & Half Limit Hold’em event at the World Poker Finals at Foxwoods. The win netted Frangos over $23,000. One year later, he cashed in five WSOP events. Two of those events were top-five finishes and he earned over $90,000 total. In 2004, Frangos placed fourth in an other WSOP event for over $54,000.

After winning one preliminary event at the WSOP Circuit event in Atlantic City and cashing in another, Frangos made a deep run in the Championship Event. He found himself at the final table with Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, Chad Brown, Aaron Bartley, Mimi Tran, and Erick Lindgren. When his day was over, Frangos found himself exiting the tournament in third place for $236,550.

Two more WSOP cashes rolled in during 2005 and in 2007, Frangos scored three times at the World Series. In the $2,000 Seven-Card Stud event, Frangos placed second to Jeffrey Lisandro and fell just short of earning his first gold bracelet. He did take home over $65,000 for his efforts.

In total, Frangos has earned over $815,000 in career tournament earnings.
