"CurrD" Wins 888poker Big Shot For The Second Time

British grinder "CurrD" took down the Big Shot 109 Main Event back in March when the tournament was a new addition to the 888poker schedule. Fast forward to October 10 and CurrD was again the last man standing in the $150,000 guaranteed Big Shot 109 Main Event.

Victory came after outlasting 1,437 opponents in the $109 buy-in tournament. Cards were in the air at 7:00 p.m., and it took a shade over 9.5 hours for CurrD to win all 21,570,000 chips in play. Their prize? An impressive $21,915.

CurrD was not the only British player to navigate their way to an 888poker final table this weekend. "CocMarsh" finished eighth in the $50,000 Big Shot 525 for $2,000 while "Anton1524" walked away with $7,000 for their fourth-place finish in the $2,100 buy-in Big Shot High Roller.

All three players will be full of confidence going into the upcoming XL Autumn Series.
