Andrew "stato_1" Hulme Returns to UK Rankings Top 20

Andrew Hulme

Andrew "stato_1" Hulme, formerly ranked 32nd in the world by PocketFives.com, has returned to the United Kingdom online poker rankings top 20 this week after a string of impressive results.

Hulme finished sixth in a $1,050 NLHE Deep Stack Freezeout event at PokerStars for $12,203 before cashing in the $5,200 WCOOP Main Event for another $14,557. Hulme went on to bank several four-figure prizes, including one worth more than $5,000 when he finished third in the PKO edition of the $215 Sunday Supersonic.

John "JBradley" Bradley flew up to tenth place this week with him continuing to dominate the $50-$100 Daily Turbo tournaments at GGPoker. Bradley found time to enter some other tournaments, the WSOP Online edition of the $300 Sunday Marathon being one. He finished fifth in that event for $14,750.

Is This The Worst (but Funniest) Bad Beat of All Time?

Fourth-place still belongs to Patrick "JaegsPL Lauber despite him taking down the $215 Bounty Builder at PokerStars. Lauber saw his lifetime winnings swell by more than $5,000 for his victory.

Up to 11th this week is "Havana" who has put in an incredible amount of volume over the past seven days. When good players play a lot of poker they tend to enjoy slid results; this was the case here. An $8,988 prize made its way to Havana’s account following a sixth-place finish in the $1,050 Saturday Bounty HR at GGPoker. Havana also banked $6,178 in another $1,050 GGPoker event in addition to half a dozen four-figure scores.

Finally, a shout-out to Paul "Fold Machiiii" Dando who scooped more than $26,000 after being the runner-up in a $55 Mini Bounty Builder High Roller at PokerStars.

Kulev Closes The Gap on Lillis

Frank "Denman98" Lillis has topped the Irish online poker rankings for months, but his reign could soon be other with Alex "FutureofMe" Kulev closing the once 1,500 point gap to only 121 points.

Lillis may have won more than $5,000 from a PokerStars $530 Bounty Builder, but Kulev crushed several tournaments. Kulev secured a $7,250 payday for a runner-up finish in the partypoker WPTWOC Mix-Max Championship, and an additional $30,310 for a bronze medal finish in a $530 NL Hold’em 8-Max freezeout WCOOP tournament at PokerStars.

Kulev followed that five-figure haul up with another, this one worth $14,992, his reward for a tenth place finish in a one-day $5,200 WCOOP tournament. He is now ranked 47th in the global rankings, which is his highest ever peak.

Third place in Ireland is still in Dara "Doke" O’Kearney’s possession. A third-place finish in the $20,000 Big Shot 109 at 888poker saw O’Kearney add $3,425 to his coffers. He also enjoyed a trio of four-figure prizes, including one worth $2,603 over at GGPoker.

Both Kevin "KevinK82" Keely and Louise "lou045" Butler climbed the Emerald Isle’s standings this week. Keely is now 14th in the Irish rankings following a $3,000+ score from his third-place finish in the PokerStars $33 Bounty Builder, while Butler returned to the top 20 off the back of her runner-up finish in the partypoker Super 6, which came with $1,118 in prize money.
