The festival shuffles up and deals for the first time at 7:00 p.m. GMT on Boxing Day, December 26, with a six-max no-limit hold’em event. It costs €50 to enter and has a €5,000 guaranteed prize pool waiting to be won.
Two more tournaments take place on December 26, with three more events scheduled on every day of the festival.

The Main Event is the tournament everyone wants to win. It costs €100 to enter and has €50,000 guaranteed. Of course, there are plenty of satellites into this and the festival’s other events, but you can secure a free seat by finishing in the top three of any of the scheduled events. Paddy Power Poker is generously adding these seats to each event’s prize pools.
You’ll want to play in as many Irish Open Winter Festival events as possible, not least because they give you the chance to win big, but because there is a special leaderboard where the top five finishers win a €1,150 seat to the 2021 Irish Poker Open Main Event.
