UK & Ireland Sunday Briefing: $64K Score For DubbCitySauce

Sunday Briefing

The final Sunday of October was one to remember for online poker tournament players who call the United Kingdom and Ireland home. Several of our players logged off their computers in the early hours of October 26 having boosted their bankrolls significantly.

“DubbCitySauce” was one such player. They entered the Bounty Builder Series 210: $215 NLHE alongside 2,911 other hopefuls. A shade under 10.5 hours later, DubbCitySauce was the last player standing.

It wasn’t plain sailing for the Brit because they fired four $215 bullets on their way to victory. That fourth bullet was definitely worthwhile as it resulted in a $64,210 score, of which more than $28,000 came from bounty payments. You could say it was a good day at the office for the champion.

Tom “Jabracada” Hall was another of our players who found himself in the winner’s circle. Hall came out on top of a 529-strong field in the $215 Sunday Supersonic at PokerStars. The 6-max hyper-turbo tournament was done and dusted in less than 2.5 hours, making his $19,202 score even more incredible.

We also have to give a shout-out to Dan “NukeTheFish!” Wilson who triumphed in the $215 Sunday Warm-Up. Wilson collected $20,305 for his win while “BenArfaa10” and “Pwndidi” finished third and fourth respectively for prizes worth $10,693 and $7,760.
