UK & Ireland Online Poker Rankings: Big Win for Patrick Brooks

The latest online poker rankings for the United Kingdom remain almost the same as last week with Patrick “pleno1” Leonard running away with proceedings. “girafganger7” is still second, but several players in the chasing pack boosted their points totals last week.

Patrick “thebigdog09” Brooks climbed one place to seventh thanks to a final table appearance in the PokerStars Sunday Million. Brooks eventually fell in sixth-place for a $24,078 score in addition to banking $5,484 for his fourth-place finish in the partypoker $60K Gtd Gladiator.

Third-placed Conor “1_conor_b_1” Beresford added $4,199 to his bankroll with a fourth-place finish in the $215 Fat Tuesday at PokerStars, with UK-based Belgian Kenny “SpaceyFCB” Hallaert collecting a massive $29,600 for his runner-up finish in the Sunday Masters event at partypoker.

Another man in form is Tyler “wonderboy222” Goatcher. He continued his impressive run with a victory in the partypoker $75K Gtd Turbo Gladiator worth $16,364 with bounties included.

Paul “Fold Machiii” Dando won more than $15,000 from a brace of tournaments. His seventh-place finish in the partypoker $300K Gtd Gladiator netted him $4,736 with his victory in the $215 Bounty Builder at PokerStars weighing in at more than $10,000.

The player known as “dawhiteninja” also won a PKO event, namely the partypoker Bounty Hunter $25K Gtd for $4,328 while Chris “Moorman1” Moorman started climbing back towards the UK top 10 with a $13,001 score over at

Shout-out also to Javier “que_te_crio” Fernandez who won the $530 Daily 500 PKO at PokerStars for more than $10,000.

Prendiville Still Leads in Ireland

Sean “monkeybudgie” Prendiville is still the man to catch in Ireland and he opened up more of a gap between himself and second-placed Tomas “luckymo32” Geleziunas with a $2,919 score in the partypoker High Roller Phased event where he fell in 16th place.

Former Irish number one and past Irish Open champion Dan “NukeTheFish!” Wilson cemented his fourth place spot with a fourth-place finish in the PokerStars Daily Supersonic for $6,411. Ronan “Sw33ney” Sweeney found himself in the winner’s circle in the PokerStars Big $55, a result that yielded $4,244.

Another Irishman taking down an online event last week was Conor “ccoonnoorr” O’Driscoll who triumphed in the PokerStars $44 Bounty Builder for a prize worth more than $7,500 with bounties included.

Brendan “daehbonk” Naughton bagged five third-place finishes to boost his current ranking. Naughton’s largest prze from that quintet of results weighed in at $1,597 from the Big $55.
