UK & Ireland Sunday Briefing: SpiritDNA Slays the High Roller Gladiator

Sunday Briefing

Players calling the United Kingdom and Ireland home helped themselves to bags of cash from online poker tournaments on Jun. 2 as hundreds of their peers battled it out in the live arena at the 2019 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas.

“SpiritDNA” was one of our biggest winners courtesy of taking down the partypoker $2,100 Sunday High Roller Gladiator. The UK-based player topped a compact yet talented field of 90 entrants to bank the $18,106 first place prize and an additional $28,284 worth of bounties. They were joined on the final table by Ireland’s “morant3” who padded their bankroll with $6,847 plus $3,150 from the bounty prize pool.

Another PKO tournament SpiritDNA excelled in was the $530 buy-in Sunday High Roller Bounty Hunter. A field of 325 competed for a slice of the $166,562 prize pool and our player navigated their way to a second-place finish worth $12,431 plus $2,165 worth of scalps.
