  • Charlie Combes won more than $83,000 after chopping the PokerStars Sunday Million heads-up.

Charlie “JIZOINT” Combes took his online poker tournament winnings ever closer to the $8 million mark on Mar. 10 when he chopped the PokerStars $109 Sunday Million for more than $83,000.

The $83,813 Combes was awarded for his second-place finish is the fifth-largest online cash of a long and illustrious career and the biggest since he won $75,029 by taking down the $1,050 Super Tuesday, also at PokerStars.

Combes was ranked as highly as sixth in the world during 2013 and this result shows he still has what it takes to rub shoulders with online poker’s elite. Combes was joined at this final table by fellow British player “Bluestarze” who finished in eighth-place for $10,860.
