UK & Ireland Sunday Briefing: Sunday Million Final Table For Luke Fields

UK & Ireland Sunday Briefing: Sunday Million Final Table For Luke Fields 0001
  • Luke Fields helped himself to a $50,403 by finishing fourth in this weekend's PokerStars Sunday Million.

Luke “LFmagic” Fields helped himself to the fifth-largest online cash of his career on Oct. 28 when he navigated his way to the final table of the PokerStars Sunday Million.

Fields was one of 5,397 entrants who helped create a $1,079,400 prize pool that was shared among the top 944 finishers. A min-cash in this week’s Sunday Million was worth $346, a final table bumped this sum to $8,578 with a cool $145,843 reserved for the eventual champion.

British grinder Stuart “guitey” Guite narrowly missed out on a final table appearance after busting in 11th place, a finish worth $6,020. This left Fields as the last remaining UK player and he looked on course for another six-figure score – it would have been the fourth of his online career – but he ran out of steam and busted in fourth-place for $50,403.

Another UK-based player who enjoyed some PokerStars success was “0409479” who finished second in the $530 Omania High Roller for $9,769 after a heads-up deal with Lebanon’s “hotmark777” before going on to be the runner-up in the Sunday 500 for a $17,204 score.
