Dean “DeanoSupremo” Lyall secured the largest online poker tournament cash of his career on May 20 when he took down the SCOOP-54-H: $2,100 NLHE 4-Max event for $111,443.

Lyall’s previous largest cash weighed in at $59,348, which he collected for finishing second in a TCOOP event in 2015. Now he has a largest prize of almost double that sum after overcoming a stellar field in this SCOOP event at PokerStars.

Some of the world’s elite players turned out for the $2,100 buy-in event, including Viktor “Isildur1” Blom (19th for $8,662), Anton “antesvante” Wigg (17th for $8,662), Martin “0PIGGYBANK” Finger (15th for $11,401), Mike “goleafsgoeh” Leah (10th for $15,006), Niklas “Lea900” Astedt (sixth for $19,750) and Lars “Lrslzk” Lusak (fifth for $25,995).

The UK’s “despedespi33” exited in fourth-place for $34,213 with “fr0zZy” of Russia crashing out in third-place for $50,716. Charlie “Epiphany77” Carrel was the runner-up and walked away with $75,180 after firing three bullets, which meant Lyall was the last person standing and he scooped the title and $111,443.

Lyall wasn’t the only British player to win a SCOOP event yesterday because Ludovic “ludovi333” Geilich got his hands on the $1,050 Stud title and $20,437 in prize money.

Like in Lyall’s event, there were some stellar names in the latter stages of the event Geiich won. Connor “blanconegro” Drinan and Mike “goleafsgoeh” Leah bust in eighth and fifth-place respectively and collected $2,437 and $5,250 while Mexico-based Brit Adam “Adamyid” Owen was the third-place finisher for $10,500.

Geilich and Shaun “shaundeeb” Deeb fought heads-up for the title and it was out man who emerged victorious to bank $20,437 and to leave Deeb to walk away with the $13,875 consolation prize.
