Calvin "cal42688" Anderson extended his own record by winning not one but two Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) events at PokerStars over the weekend and now has 10 SCOOP titles to his name.

The American poker refugee, who is registered at PokerStars in Mexico, shipped his record ninth SCOOP title after outlasting a field of 338 entrants to win the SCOOP-19-H: $2,100 NLHE [6-Max], $500K Gtd for $126,659. Finishing just behind Anderson in this tournament were Aaron "AaronBeen" Been ($92,219) and David "Dpeters17" Peters ($67,143).

Anderson made history again on Sunday when he won his 10th SCOOP title. He won the SCOOP-26-H: $1,050 FLO8 [8-Max], $125K Gtd for $26,305 after agreeing to a three-way deal with Sebastian "p0cket00" Sikorski ($21,847) and Connor "blanconegro" Drinan ($20,099).

If winning a two SCOOP titles in a weekend seems impossible, Anderson was even quicker when he won two SCOOP titles in a weekend in 2011 when he won the SCOOP-25-M: $215 Stud Hi/Lo [$40K Guaranteed] for $13,090 and the SCOOP-27-H: $2,100 Razz [$150,000 Guaranteed] within a 24-hour period for his second and third SCOOP titles.

Anderson is having a SCOOP for the ages. In addition to his two wins, he has managed 30 other cashes in SCOOP events with many still remaining.

The American now has a commanding lead on the 2018 SCOOP Overall Leaderboard with 730 points. The winner of the leaderboard will walk away with a trophy and a coveted Platinum Pass to the PokerStars Players NL Hold’em Championship valued at $30,000.

Anderson is also in the lead in the 2018 SCOOP High Leaderboard with 450 points. The winner of that leaderboard will be awarded a trophy and $10,000 in cash with the runner-up receiving $7,500 and third place going home with $5,000.

Anderson's Other Achievements

Outside of the SCOOP, Anderson is one of the most successful online poker tournament players in the world with more than $7.2 million in online tournament cashes. He is a former eight-time top player in the world according to PocketFives where he also won the 2013 Yearly PLB Leaderboard.

Anderson's biggest online cash came just before Black Friday when in March 2011, he finished on top of the Full Tilt $1,500,000 Guarantee for $303,951 after agreeing to a heads-up deal with Andrew "ASong" Song.

The American has also proved himself in the live poker tournament arena with more than $1.8 million in cashes according to The Hendon Mob. In 2014, he won his first World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelet after outlasting a field of 558 players in the WSOP Event #30: $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo for $190,538.

Anderson's biggest live cash came two years later when he just missed out on his second gold-bracelet after finishing in second place out of a field of 4,360 entrants to win the WSOP Event #30: $1,111 No Limit Hold'em Little One for One Drop for $324,597.
