Players calling the United Kingdom and Ireland home enjoyed some excellent results at 888poker, partypoker and PokerStars on Apr. 15 with Chris Moorman and Michael Zhang in particular pulling in big scores.

Moorman, playing as “Moorman1” from Canada, walked away with the $39,343 first-place prize of the $215 Sunday Warm-Up at PokerStars. Moorman topped a field of 1,262, including “LendGamble” in ninth-place ($3,026) to win yet another online poker tournament. Moorman is now closing in on $15 million in online poker tournament winnings.

Tommy “88pro88” Lawrence won the largest cash sum, and by a wide margin, courtesy of coming out on top in this weekend’s $215 Sunday Million. This tournament attracted a field of 5,598 and an impressive four of our players navigated their way to the nine-handed final table.

Daniel “dougiedan678” Macaulay bust in ninth-place for $8,894, Ireland’s Shean “AlexLai11” Lai was the fourth-place finisher and collected $52,257 while “designerboy” and 88pro88 walked away with $102,896 and $131,164 after being part of a three-way chop.

Over at partypoker now where Michael Chi “mczhang” Zhang triumped in the $2,600 buy-in Super Sunday Super High Roller for $50,375. Zhang has been on a tear of late and recently won the €50,100 Super High Roller at the partypokerLIVE MILLIONS Germany festival for €800,000.

Thomas “Airdraken” Clack also helped himself to a sizeable score by finishing second in the Super Sunday Main Event-H: $150K Gtd. Clack outlasted all but one of the 1,685 entrants to secure a $20,169 payday.

A doff of the cap also to Charlie “SantasClaiMEer” Combes who banked $2,074 plus $1,078 in bounty payments for his eighth-place finish in the Sunday Bounty Hunter-HR: $200K Gtd.

Finally, across to 888poker where “HeadsUpChump” navigated their way to a third-place finish in the $30,000 Sunday Great 8, a finish worth a $3,502 return on their $88 investment. 888poker is also where “dogisloser” and “josetecrazy” finished third and fifth in the $15,000 Turbo Mega Deep for scores of $2,280 and $1,140.
