Beresford has nudged partypoker ambassador Patrick “pleno1” Leonard down one place into second after a five-figure score in the PokerStars Sunday 500. Beresford finished third in that particular tournament and banked $19,837. He also finished fourth in one of partypoker’s KO Series events and won $5,007.

Third-placed Jonathan “proudflop” Proudfoot found himself in the winner’s circle last week when he emerged victorious in the Hot $215 at PokerStars, a result that netted him $8,759. It won’t be long until Proudfoot is putting pressure on the UK’s top two with results like this.

UK-based Belgian Kenny “SpaceyFCB” Hallaert was another player winning big last week after he took down the $40K Gtd High Roller at partypoker for $14,583 while Charlie “chaz_man_chaz” Combes added $17,112 to his bankroll after finishing fifth in the PokerStars $1,050 8-Max PKO Turbo Series event; Combes also won $6,566 for his third-place finish in the partypoker $50K Gtd High Roller.

Someone else enjoying a five-figure prize was Owain “sngwonder” Carey who collected $10,848 for his runner-up finish in the partypoker $100K Gtd KO Series and Ludovic “ludovi333” Geilich secured a $10,423 payout by finishing sixth in a $215 6-Max Turbo Series tournament at PokerStars.

The biggest score enjoyed by one of our players weighed in at $40,705, which was “B4NKR0LL3R”’s reward for being the runner-up in the PokerStars Super Tuesday; he also won the $109 NLHE 6-Max Hyper on the same night for $5,003.

Finally, a shoutout to “Kashmiri” who was running red hot last week and has jumped five places to 12th. Kashmiri finished fourth in the KO Series $1M Gtd Championship Event at partypoker for $33,386 and netted an additional $8,645 for a third-place finish in the partypoker Tuesday Bounty Hunter.
