Alex Lindop

Alex Lindop, winner of a World Series of Poker bracelet in 2015, has hit a rich vein of form in the online poker world, one that has seen him win more than $100,000 in a couple of days.

Playing at PokerStars under the moniker “Ahhh Is It?”, Lindop took down the $215 Bubble Rush World Championship Of Online Poker event for $68,721 and has followed up that impressive result by winning the $1,050 Sunday Grand PLO for an additional $34,705.

Lindop was joined at the final table by fellow Brit “Tagult” who finished third for an $18,932 score. Links between Lindop’s recent run good and

In the no-limit hold’em version of the Sunday Grand, Ludovic “ludovi333” Geilich helped himself to the $22,827 third-place prize, while in the Big $215, “deivid29” finished as runner-up but not before securing a deal for $21,090, which was slightly more than the champion received.

The United Kingdom has some excellent players who moved to these shores and now call this country home. One such player is the German “hdjgkfkgsdl” who finished third in the WCOOP-22-H: $530 NLHE Win the Button for $43,719, the same tournament that UK-based Spaniard Sergio “trujustrus” Cabrera bust in seventh-place for $12,535.

Another Spanish national, Oscar “MendaLerenda” Serradell narrowly missed out on a final table appearance in the WCOOP-23-H: $1,050 NLHE 6-Max, falling in eighth place for a $13,816 addition to his bankroll.

There were two Union Jacks at the final table of the Big $109. Seventh-place went to “Jace1d”, a finish worth $3,547, with “grayzee1” coming out on top of the 1,796-strong crowd to bank a cool $19,696.
