€300,000 Guaranteed Grand Prix Killarney Starts Sep. 7

The €300,000 guaranteed Grand Prix Killarney, part of the partypoker LIVE circuit, gets underway at the INEC and Gleneagle Hotel from Sep. 7 and runs until Sep. 10.
Players in the Grand Prix Killarney Main Event can exchange €340, or $370 if they buy in via their partypoker accounts, for a 25,000 stack and then they get to play to blinds that increase every 40-minutes.
Although the prizes on offer depend on the number of entrants in the Main Event, partypoker hosted a Grand Prix Dublin earlier this year and it awarded its champion, Joseph Macari, €31,905 from a €164,700 prize pool, so it is safe to assume the Grand Prix Killarney winner will be walking away with a prize in the region of €50,000.
Day 1a of Grand Prix Killarney commences at 5:00 p.m. BST on Sep. 7 with Day 1b starting at the earlier time of 2:00 p.m. on Sep. 8. There is also a Day 1c on Sep. 8 at 7:30 p.m. which has a 25-minute clock instead of the standard 40-minutes.
Those who prefer to start their quest for glory in an online setting can play an online Day 1 at partypoker at 9:00 p.m. on Sep. 7, but this is the final online Day 1.
