Paul Jackson Wins the Latest DTD 200 Event for £21,100
Paul Jackson is one of British poker’s greats. According to the Hendon Mob database, Jackson has live tournament cashes dating back to October 1997 and more than $1.6 million in winnings.
This weekend, Jackson made another trip to Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham where he competed in the £100,000 guaranteed DTD 200 event. With the likes of Matthew Wood, Stuart Kinghorn, Stephen Ayres, Peter Wigglesworth, Richard King, Dewi James, Maria Demetriou, Tom Haney, and Tim Slater among the players who made it through to Day 2, coming away with anything to show for his investment was going to be a difficult task.
Jackson did more than come away with something to show for his efforts, he triumphed in the tournment to win his 14th recorded live victory, £20,000 in prize money and a £1,100 DTD 1000 ticket for the £500,000 guaranteed event.

Jackson defeated Daniel Hook heads-up for the title, a Blackpool-based player who has dozens of results in low stakes live tournaments in the seaside town.
Mick Fletcher was also at the eight-handed final table, eventually busting in third-place, one place after Adam Bromley who was only playing in the tournament after he and his wife Natalie cancelled their trip to Barcelona after the horrendous terrorist attacks in the Spanish city.
There is another DTD 200 event this week, running while the club is gearing up for the £500,000 guaranteed DTD 1000, a £1,100 buy-in tournament that is sure to attract an eclectic mix of recreational players via partypoker satellites and professionals to the Nottingham club. Jackson, the owner of staking group BR Staking, already has his seat booked, will you win yourself one in time for this big tournament?
