UK & Ireland Online Poker Rankings: Beresford and Noonan Still On Top

  • Conor Beresford and James Noonan are still the players to catch in the UK & Ireland online poker rankings.

Conor “1_conor_b_1” Beresford is still enjoying a lead of more than 500 points over Patrick “pleno1” Leonard in the PocketFives.com UK online poker rankings and could push even further ahead once the latest results are imported into each players’ profiles.

Beresford recently finished second in a $20K Gtd Turbo High Roller at partypoker for $6,686 and followed up that impressive result with a third-place finish in Powerfest #19 - $50K Gtd High Roller 6-Max Turbo worth $8,040.

Leonard is attempting to keep tabs on Beresford and on May 8, was the third-place finisher in the PokerStars $215 Monday 6-Max, a result that netted the popular professional poker player $12,543.

Several other UK-based players have helped themselves to sizeable scores over the past seven days, including Ludovic “ludovi333” Geilich who took down the $320 Thursday Thrill Late Edition at PokerStars for $11,237 and Oscar “MendaLerenda” Serradell who walked away with the $12,393 first-place prize on offer in the PokerStars Big $55.

The player known as “luckyfish89” added $13,079 to their online poker tournament winnings by finishing fourth in the XL inferno edition of the $150,000 Mega Deep at 888poker, while David “davaman” Lopez won two tournament on May 4, namely the Big $215 at PokerStars for $11,985 and the $20K Gtd Eliminator Progressive KO event at partypoker for $5,605.

Joining these stars in the spotlight are Phil “philroyal888” Mighall who won the $50K Gtd Uppercut at partypoker for $9,730, “que_te_crio” who banked $6,065 for their third-place finish in the PokerStars Hot $162 and Rick “TheClaimer” Trigg who finished second in the PokerStars $109 Sunday Cooldown for a $17,329 score.

James Noonan Still the Man to Catch in Ireland

James “Jaymo” Noonan is the number one ranked online poker tournament player in Ireland after winning a tournament at Winamax for $3,815, finishing second in the $20K Gtd Eliminator tournament for $3,157 and being the third-place finisher in the $10K Gtd Clubber for $1,300, those last two results stemming from partypoker.

Tomas “luckymo32” Geleziunas won two online tournaments this week, both at PokerStars. Geleziunas took down the $33 Bounty Builder for $2,842 on May 7 and on the same day won the Hot $27 for $2,252.

Another decent victory was that of “myleftfoot” who walked away with the $2,701 first-place prize of the $33 Bubble Rush at PokerStars, while Dara “Doke” O’Kearney won two tournaments on the MPN Network with combined prizes of $2,834.
