888poker, the world’s second largest online poker brand, recently announced its new initiative, Taking Back the Game, focused on its commitment to player experience.
“For many years, 888poker has been celebrated as a platform which welcomes members from all different levels of experience and ability; a place to call home for recreational and professional players alike,” said Itai Pazner, senior vice president of the business to consumer division at 888 Holdings.
The platform’s reputation hasn’t changed.
“‘Taking back the game’ is about going one step further for our players; it’s about moving forwards, not backwards, and shaping the future of online poker so that we give our players a better experience,” he said.
888 is accompanying the initiative with a TV campaign airing May 11, #Buzzkills, which will call out the cons of online poker and illuminate the changes that 888poker is making to create a more enjoyable atmosphere for players throughout 2017.
These 30 second ads will reveal 888poker solutions to player problems and frustrations. To encompass this change, 888 will launch a loyalty program that will allow recreational players a beneficial structure and rewards system.
In addition to this, 888 continues to offer exciting and original promotions to players of all skill levels, most noticeably already started with the Treasure Quest promotion.
The more innovative and quick-paced poker variants, like the extremely popular BLAST poker, will continue with developments coming in the near future!
As sponsors of the World Series of Poker for its third year, 888poker is making the WSOP more accessible with more packages to Vegas, over 250 to be exact, through satellites and promotions starting at $0.01.
"We have a clear and positive picture of how we see 888poker developing over the next few years, both online and offline, and I personally can’t wait to see 888poker transform and revolutionise the way online poker is played!” Pazner said.
