  • Peter Thompson won more than $210,000 by finishing sixth in the $10 million guaranteed Sunday Million.

The United Kingdom’s Peter “peter804” Thompson may have missed out on a seven-figure tournament cash this weekend but he did walk away with a $210,069 consolation prize.

Thompson, a 26-year-old eSports fanatic, navigated his way to a sixth place finish in the PokerStars Sunday Million 11th Anniversary special, an event with a $10 million guaranteed prize pool. The mammoth cash haul by Thompson was the biggest of his career to date and by far the most money won by a player from the UK and Ireland this weekend.
