UK & Ireland Online Poker Rankings: Leaders Remain Unchanged

UK & Ireland Online Poker Rankings

  • Check out the top 20 online poker tournament players who call the United Kingdom and Ireland home.

Our friend at PocketFives.com have updated their online poker rankings and after doing so it is still Patrick “pleno1” Leonard who leads the way in the United Kingdom standings.

Leonard, a Partypoker ambassador, has been busy playing live poker in the Caribbean and has now jetted off to Prague for the last-ever European Poker Tour festival, so is unlikely to add to his points tally any time soon.

This fact gives second-placed Ludovic “ludovi333” Geilich and third-placed Conor “1_conor_b_1” Beresford an opportunity to catch the Hungary-based Brit. Beresford did close the gap a little after winning the $109 Mini Thursday Thrill at PokerStars for $13,670 yesterday.

Phil “PhilRoyal888” Mighall has been knocking on the door of a large score this week, putting together deep runs in the Super Tuesday among other events. Mighall managed a third place finish in the $82 NL08 6-Max Hyper, an eighth place in the Hot $215 and a fourth place in the Big $22 at PokerStars, too.

Shout out to Jamie “Ship It 2010” O’Connor who finished third in a PokerStars Big $215 for $6,819 and to “pkace666” who is a brand new name in the top 20 of the leader board, debuting in 20th place.

“Pkace666” has more than $480,000 in online tournament winnings, with a large percentage of those winnings stemming from low-to-mid stakes tournaments.

“Myleftfoot” Climbs to Fifth in the Irish Standings

The Irish grinder known as “myleftfoot” has climbed six places in the Irish online poker rankings and no occupies fifth place thanks to a massive result last weekend.

“Myleftfoot” had enjoyed three five-figure scores during 2016, but on Sunday he secured his first-ever six-figure score when he won the PokerStars Sunday Million for a huge $148,935 score.

The result knocks former Ireland number one, Kevin Killeen, into sixth-place, albeit by less than a handful of points.

Still number one, and by some distance, is Dan “NukeTheFish!” Wilson who won two online tournaments this week. Wilson took down the $162 NLHE Win the Button at PokerStars for $3,037 and then won the $10,000 breeze at 888poker for an additional $2,290.
