There were some superb results enjoyed by players from the United Kingdom and Ireland in this weekend’s online Sunday majors, including the Sunday Million at PokerStars where five of the nine players at the final table were from our shores.

Ireland’s “TheKhopMan” fell in eighth place for $12,483.69 before the UK’s “tezmoney” bust in sixth place for $25,348.81. “Ashwatthama” navigated their way to third place, a finish worth $73,345.49 with “donkey310” finishing as the runner-up and banking $104,515.09. However, the biggest score anywhere online when to Irish player “myleftfoot33” who took down the Sunday Million and added $148,934.52 to their bankroll.

Ludovic “ludovi333” Geilich continued his good run of form by chopping the $1,050 Sunday Grand NLHE for $44,238.41, the same tournament that Luke “Bit2Easy” Reeves finished fourth in for a $22,062.86 score.

Before these huge scores, “CampingBaz” helped himself to the $11,183.03 third place prize of the $109 Sunday Kickoff, Ben “vindog03” Vinson finished seventh in the $215 Sunday Warm-Up for $8,389.75 and Christopher “NigDawG” Brammer and “Gandalf MR” finished fourth and fifth in the $215 Weekender for scores of $5,681.54 and $4,164.55.

Also at PokerStars, “SmellyToes4u” won $6,380.03 by finishing seventh in the $700 Super-Sized Sunday, and “candy1984” bust from the Big $215 in fourth place for $9,869.70.

Across to 888poker now where “carpediem14” and “OMGsete” reached the final table of the $100,000 Baby Whale. The former fell in ninth place for $1,952.16 while the latter banked $4,998 by finishing in sixth place.

In the $40,000 Turbo Mega Deep, “ckb4714” finished fourth for $3,774 with “Bastettt” finishing third in the $80,000 Sunday Challenge and walking away with $12,023.50 after a three-way chop.
