A new documentary series on Insight Television in ultra high definition, Life of Cards, gives viewers the opportunity to witness the lives of 10 of poker's most popular players. Life of Cards premiered Sept. 3, but will continue on through the first part of November.

The series, which will feature a different pro for every 50-minute episode, includes Joe Hachem, Nicolau Villa-Lobos, Vanessa Selbst, Liv Boeree, Faraz Jaka, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Akira Ohyama, Antonio Esfandiari, Daniel Negreanu and Chris Moneymaker. The network says that the series will show the true passion and struggle involved in every poker game. The pros travel to the Bahamas, Australia, Ireland, France and the United States (namely, Los Angeles and Las Vegas).

Get to know the person behind the man who is the highest earning poker player of all time: Daniel Negreanu. Join eccentric Frenchman Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier as he tries to find the balance between his poker career and gaming ambitions. Meet astrophysicist and former model Liv Boeree who combines her love life with her poker travels. See for yourself what is true of the playboy lifestyle of Antonio Esfandiari, the man who won $18 million in one tournament, the biggest prize in poker yet to date.
