Another weekend has been and gone, and yet again players from the United Kingdom and Ireland have reached final tables of online poker’s biggest Sunday tournaments. The Sunday Briefing showcases some of the biggest scores and best results enjoyed by our players.

At 888poker, “whyfloatme” won the $60,000 Sunday Challenge, turning $90 into a more substantial $16,851.37 in the process. But that’s not all because the same players also reached the final table of the $50,000 Turbo Mega Deep, falling in fourth-place for an additional $4,250.

Three other players calling the UK home joined “whyfloatme” at the final table of the $50,000 Turbo Mega Deep. “buddychoc” finished in seventh-place for $1,750 with “The_Maravich” busting one place later for $2,250. The third and final players was Sergio “trujustrus” Cabrera who crashed out in third-place for $5,650.

Also at 888poker this Sunday, “definedonk” collected $13,639.10 for their fourth-place finish in the $120,000 Whale, while Jack “lrdvoldemort” O’Neill and “JUANFRAN1973” finished second and third in the $100,000 Mega Deep for scores of $19,021.20 and $14,374.80.

Three Brits reached the final table of the $15,000 Sunday Lightning 6-Max: “greenlettuce” was the fifth-place finisher for $1,774.50, that man “lrdvoldemort” finished fourth for $2,320.50, and “BoobJob32DD” was the runner-up for $5,479.19.

Over to PokerStars now were Matthew “theginger45” Hunt finished sixth in the Big $162 for $1,203.09, and “highblaze” won the Sunday Kickoff for $20,862.33, outlasting fellow Brits “InsaneShark” and “ROBBYROOSTER” who finished seventh and ninth for scores of $3,047.07 and $1,604.72.

UK-based Spaniard Cesar “Ce$ar$pa” Garcia was the runner-up in the Hot $162 for $5,112.27 with “MAZACAR1E” and Christopher “NigDawG” Brammer finishing in the fourth and fifth place in the same tournament for $2,792.84 and $2,064.25.

A shout out to “teambreezy” who collected $6,348.86 for their eighth-place finish in the Sunday Warm-Up, to both Phil “PhilRoyal888” Mighall and Dan “DatWillDoPig” Rankin who were the third and fourth place finishers in the $109 Bounty Builder for $9,002.14 and $6,750.66, and to “PoluKalos” and “mr-pant” who saw their Hot $109 end with a runner-up and fourth place finish worth $15,033.51 and $7,917.25.

Finally, over at partypoker, Chris “Therealmoorm” Moorman finished eighth in the $200,000 Gtd High Roller for $5,346.25 with partypoker ambassador Patrick “tiote22” Leonard winning the $50,000 Gtd 6-Max Turbo for $15,996.04.
