UK & Ireland Sunday Briefing: Fiskin1 Fifth in Sunday Million

The year 2016 moved into its 10th month this weekend and one player in particular got October off to a flying start by navigating their way to a fifth-place finish in the PokerStars Sunday Million.

There’s little information online about “Fiskin1” apart from a few big scores in the Spring Championship Of Online Poker and a Super Tuesday final table appearance. Now there is another entry when you search online, one where Fiskin1 finishes fifth in the Sunday Million, turning $109 into $50,508.01.

Ben “1Don’tStop1” Heath reached the final table of two PokerStars Sunday majors this week, finishing third in the $215 The Weekender for $6,145.48 then collecting the $4,293.47 sixth-place prize in the Sunday Cooldown.

Joining Heath on the final table of the Sunday Cooldown were Martin “susie00” Malone, who finished seventh for $3,115.78, and “DGr33nman” who won the tournament for a $21,332.94 addition to their bankroll.

  • “slimdean80” – third-place in the Hot $162 for $4,102.55
  • “Ahhh Is It?” – eighth-place in the $215 Sunday Warm-Up for $5,592.64
  • Daniel “danistheking” Carter – seventh-place in The Weekender for $1,774.05
  • “beginner27” – first-place in the Hot $162 for $15,229.10
  • “kayra 11” – ninth-place in the $700 Super-Sized Sunday for $3,237.56
  • Rick “ThEcLaiMEer” Trigg – sixth-place in the $109 Bounty Builder for $3,652.32
  • “taz338” – fifth-place in the Sunday Grand PLO for $13,126.13
  • Tom “tjbentham” Bentham – seventh-place in the Sunday Grand PLO for $9,634.95
  • “robbydoooo” – third-place in the $215 Sunday Supersonic for $14,968.55
  • Daniel “DanielT999” Tighe – fourth-place in the Hot $215 for $6,857.01

Over at 888poker, “evianwater1” helped themselves to a $12,534.52 score by finishing fourth in the $80,000 Whale, with “MOI_est_JEAN” finishing sixth in the same tournament for $6,635.92.

In the $30,000 Turbo Mega Deep, UK-based Lithuanian Matas “SeRG3nT” Cimbolas was the runner-up, a finish that bagged them $6,448, “YOUB40” was the sixth-place finisher in the $20,000 Sunday Tornado for $1,426.50, and there was a $15,676.12 score for “WhyFloatme” thanks to them taking top spot in the $60,000 Sunday Challenge.

While over at Partypoker, Oliver “ThreeBunPass” Price reached the final table of the $530 High Roller, falling in eighth-place for $5,000, and Tony “tonyfellone” Fellone bust from the $150,000 Gtd Main Event in fifth-place for $7,490.75.
