Jon “luckyfish89” Clark was among the big winners online this weekend thanks to being the runner-up in the PokerStars Sunday Million.

It was one of the smaller Sunday Million tournaments of late, with “only” 5,003 entries processed, which meant the $1 million guarantee was exceeded by a mere $600. Three British players managed to navigate their way to the final table, “I am 8” was the first of them to fall, their run ending in a sixth-place finish worth $24,240.53.

Next of the Brits to bust was “Cr00kedF00t” in fourth-place for $49,221.61, with Clark falling at the final hurdle, his runner-up finish added a cool $99,946.53 to his lifetime online winnings, which now exceed $750,000.

While Clark was on his way to a superb tournament score, “Palmero92” was wrapping up a victory in the $215 Sunday Warm-Up, a win worth $46,542.56 after a four-way chip; Carl “swansfc_CJ” Johns finished in ninth-place in the same tournament for $4,436.81.

Over at 888poker, “patsharpe” finished in eighth-place in the $60,000 Sunday Challenge for $1,859.04, finishing one place earlier was fellow Brit “MrSocks14” who banked $1,164.99.

Four of our players reached the final table of the $40,000 Turbo Mega Deep: “buddychoc” fell in sixth-place for $2,097 while “evianwater” and “ahcacao” finished in second and third-place and collected $6,928.11 and $7,470.35 after being involved in a three-handed chop.

In the $100,000 Mega Deep, Sebastian “iknowmybody” Saffari finished in seventh-place for a $4,524 score, with “OMGsete” collecting $9,168 for their fourth-place finish in the $100,000 Baby Whale.

Finally, over at Partypoker, Ireland’s Nelius “danceofddead” Foley walked away with $25,530.95 after outlasting 1,611 opponents in the $150,000 guaranteed Main Event, a fine return on his $109 investment.
