Oliver Price
Sharelines
  • Oliver Price was among the big winners this weekend, taking down the Sunday Grand for almost $55,000.

In what was a relatively quiet Sunday for online poker players calling the United Kingdom or Ireland home, there were still some impressive results enjoyed by our grinders at PokerStars, partypoker, and 888poker.

Oliver “ollie_p” Price scooped one of the largest scores of the night thanks to being part of a heads-up deal with Canada’s “n3xD” in the Sunday Grand, before taking it down for $54,851.06.

Some of the other large cashes at PokerStars included “arrancadente” finishing third in the Sunday Kickoff for $10,363.76, “caseace123” of Ireland winning the $109 Bounty Builder for $15,133.59, “PokerDave476” finishing sixth in the $109 Bounty Builder for $3,588.43, “ross_654” banking $7,274.64 for his fifth-place finish in the Big $215, and “lov10k” being the runner-up in the Sunday Supersonic for $23,593.62.

Over at partypoker, current number one ranked tournament player in the UK Conor “LarryErbs” Beresford took down the $50,000 Weigh-In for $11,267.38, while 888poker continued to be a happy hunting ground for our players.

Sam “sammygrinder” Grafton won $2,470.50 for his eighth-place finish in the $80,000 Baby Whale, with “juanfran1973” winning the entire tournament for $21,070.62.

Another two UK and Ireland players reached the final table of the $100,000 Mega Deep. Ben “jenbizzie” Jones collected $6,060.50 for their sixth-place finish, with “NoelHayes666” banking $7,486.50 for their fifth-place finish.

Also at 888poker, “hajnpaj” finished fifth in the $40,000 Turbo Mega Deep for a $2,830.40 score, “imadkuko” was the runner-up in the $50,000 Sunday Crocodile for $9,849, and a trio of Union Jacks adorned the final table of the $80,000 Sunday Challenge; “OMGsete” finished eighth for $2,235.15, Sergio “trujustrus” Cabrera fourth for $7,569.05, and Harry “Hlodge” Lodge was second for $13,309.33.PokerStars
