£100,000 Guaranteed GUKPT London Only a Week Away

  • The 2016 GUKPT London festival runs from June 26 through to July 3 and includes a £100,000 guaranteed Main Event.

Those of you who have decided not to head to Las Vegas for the 2016 World Series of Poker, but are wanting to play in a prestigious tournament should be pleased to learn that the 2016 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour’s fifth leg is less than a week away.

Usually, the London legs of the GUKPT are £1,090 buy-in Main Events, but this time around it is a cut-price £550, yet still features an impressive £100,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The Main Event has two starting flights, both kicking off at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday 30 June and Friday 1 July, and players sit down with 20,000 tournament chips. Should they dust off that generous helping of betting tokens, re-entry is available on both flights.

While the £550 buy-in is at the more affordable end of the spectrum, the Poker Room formerly The Vic, is running a host of cheap satellites into the £100,000 guaranteed Main Event.

The £26 buy-in Super Satellite on June 26 is a rebuy tournament, but it has 10 Main Event seats guaranteed, which spells value in our eyes.

Aside from the Main Event, there are several side events over the course of the week including a £110 buy-in six-max tournament, a £115 buy-in bounty event, an £82 Omaha Round of Each, and the £10,000 guaranteed Mini Main that costs £110 to enter.
