A superb week of online poker tournament action has seen a minor reshuffle to the United Kingdom’s online poker rankings, including a brand new name among the top 20 ranked players.

Bunkervogel” seems to have changed his location as he has appeared in 11th place in the UK standings after the latest update by Now showing as being from Brighton, Bunkervogel is ranked 67th in the world, but has been ranked in 62nd place during 2016.

With $1.17m in lifetime winnings, helped by a recent win in the Hot €100 ($2,621) and a runner-up finish in the PokerStars Big $82 ($4,927), Bunkervogel certainly knows his way around the virtual felt.

Oscar “MendaLerenda” Serradell, a Spanish pro based out of Bristol, still tops the UK leaderboard and has risen to second place in the worldwide standings. Serradell’s rise was assisted by him reaching the final table of the $250,000 guaranteed Powerfest #68 at partypoker for $3,500 and his win in the PokerStars $55 NL Hold’em Turbo Knockout for $2,795.

Last Thursday, March 3, Chris “moorman1” Moorman reached the money places in seven tournaments with two of those being third places and two outright victories. Moorman came third in the Hot $162 for $4814, third in the Big $109 for $9,516, then won the $109+R NL Hold’em for $11,025, all at PokerStars. The winningest online tournament player in history rounded off a profitable Thursday by winning the $10,000 Late Night Crocodile at 888poker for $3,671.

Special mentions to Jamie “EzGame89” O’Connor, Tom “Jabracada” Hall, and Martin “molliemalone” Malone who all enjoyed some superb results this past week, improving their UK rankings as a result.

Big Win for Dan “NukeTheFish!” Wilson

Dan “NukeTheFish!” Wilson’s bankroll received a shot in the arm this week thanks to him walking away with the $13,471 first place prize in the PokerStars $109 NL Hold’em 1R1A. The win added almost 265 points to his tally, and he climbed to second place in Ireland as a result.

Top of the Irish rankings is still Kevin “SuitedAcesBaby” Killeen, who seems to have made the number one spot his own. A win in the 888poker $35,000 Sunday Breeze worth $7,294 and a fifth place in the PokerStars $215 Weekly 6-Max for $3,624 were the highlights of Killeen’s week. Killeen is now ranked a career-high of 48th in the world.

Two other Irishmen reached dizzy new heights, too. Daniel “danielt999” Tighe is up to 249th in the world following his runner-up finish in the PokerStars $109+R NL Hold’em ($6,188) while Toby “Jobytoyce” Joyce climbs to 450th in the world on the back of a fourth place finish in the partypoker Powerfest #71 $100,000 guaranteed for $7,500 and a third place in the PokerStars Big $162 worth $8,492.
